Known during French colonial rule as Tourane, Da Nang became the most important port in central Vietnam during the 19th century. The French influence upon the city is still quite prominent as one can easily find a plethora of catholic cathedrals and French villas just strolling through the city. 

Fortunately, our Ngon Villa belongs to the few villas that are still well-maintained and beautiful as ever. Red bricks are used alongside bamboo and lacquered wood, giving it a charming, vintage East-West fusion aesthetic, while not sacrificing function for form.

Dining at Ngon Villa proves to be a truly memorable experience, as our chefs deliver the most authentic of the Central cuisine. Here, you can experience an exclusive all-you-can-eat menu of the country’s cuisine with smaller portions allowing you to enjoy all the food as much as you want. The a-la-carte and set menus are also provided if you already know exactly which ones are your favourite dishes. Each ingredient has been carefully handpicked from the local farmer’s market, to ensure the highest quality of the food and your enjoyment.

Enthralled by Vietnamese food and want to have a go yourself? Our Executive Chef, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Iron Chef Vietnam 2012, has organized an exciting array of traditional recipes suitable for all, from the uninitiated beginner to the culinary expert MasterChef. Chef Tung is a passionate of Vietnamese cuisine and has worked in kitchens around the country, with chefs from across the world to devise extraordinary menus, both traditional and inventive.

Our Ngon Villa Cooking Corner gives Chef Tung the opportunity to share his passion and talents with the world. Our recipes can take into account all dietary requirements, so please let us know if there is anything you can or cannot eat.

The Class:

Cooking class & market visit: 3h session from 9am to 12pm.
Classes can be held at a beginner, intermediate or advanced level, depending on your level of expertise around the kitchen!

Those can be held for groups, or private!
